"On Amendments to Article 10 of the Law of Ukraine "On the Status of War Veterans, and Guarantees of Their Social Protection"

The Law of Ukraine "On the Status of War Veterans, and Guarantees of their Social Protection" N3551-XII of October 22, 1993 determines the legal status of war veterans, provides for creation of appropriate conditions for their sustenance, and facilitates formation of a respectful attitude towards them in the society.

Article 10 of the Law of Ukraine "On the Status of War Veterans, and Guarantees of Their Social Protection" determines persons to whom the law applies.

The Law supplements Article 10 of the Law of Ukraine "On the Status of War Veterans, and Guarantees of Their Social Protection" with a new provision, according to which the scope of the Law of Ukraine "On the Status of War Veterans, and Guarantees of Their Social Protection" is expanded to include the families of the members of private and command corps of the internal affairs bodies of Ukraine who were killed or died as a result of a wound, contusion or injury sustained during their participation in the anti-terrorist operation, defending the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
